Projects
VISiO Lab is currently involved in a research project to develop an automatic face detection
and recognition system. The system is to be used to aid security/immigration officers at the
airport to recognize possible criminal suspects.
This three year project is being funded by a research grant from the Higher Educations
Directorate of the Ministry of Education.
