Dr. Iwan Setyawan
Dr. Iwan Setyawan received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 1996 and 1999, respectively,
from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Bandung Institute of Technology. He received
his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Delft University of
Technology. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronic and
Computer Engineering, Satya Wacana Christian University. His current research interest
includes digital image and video compression and watermarking. You can contact him

Ivanna K. Timotius, M.S.
Ivanna K. Timotius received her Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering
from Satya Wacana Christian University, Indonesia in 2003. She received
her Master's degree from Chung Yuan Christian University, Taiwan in 2009.
She is currently a lecturer at the Department of Electronic and Computer
Engineering, Satya Wacana Christian University, Indonesia. Her research
interest includes pattern recognition and digital image processing.
Andreas A. Febrianto, M.T.
Andreas Ardian Febrianto received his Bachelor's degree in Electronic
Engineering from Satya Wacana Christian University, Indonesia in 1999. He
received his Master's degree from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia in 2003.
He has worked as a lecturer at the Department of Electronic and Computer
Engineering, Satya Wacana Christian University, Indonesia since 2003.
His research interest is in digital signal processing.
Students
Regina Lionnie
Regina Lionnie is currently doing a research in hand gesture recognition at the VISiO Lab. This research will form the basis of her Final Project. She is currently wrapping up her Final Project and should receive her Bachelor's degree by early 2012. Her Final Project advisors are Dr. Iwan Setyawan and Ivanna K. Timotius, MS.
Alumni
The Linasari Christiani
The Linasari Christiani is the first alumni of VISiO. During her stint at the Research Center, she did a research on human face recognition using Generalized Discriminant Analysis and Support Vector Machine. Her Final Project advisors were Dr. Iwan Setyawan and Ivanna K. Timotius, MS.
Yohan Wibowo
Yohan Wibowo is the second student to successfully complete his studies as a member of VISiO. He did a research in human face detection using the Schneidermann-Kanade method. His Final Project advisors were Dr. Iwan Setyawan and Andreas A. Febrianto, MT.
Abraham Fajar Putra
Abraham Fajar Putra is the third student that earned his Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering after performing research in VISiO Lab. He did a research in face recognition, based on KFDA and Nearest Neighbor method. His Final Project advisors were Dr. Iwan Setyawan and Ivanna K. Timotius, MS.
